I grew up watching my grandmother read cards (Bói Bài Tây) for the Vietnamese community. These were people who had lost everything, starting over in a new country, and who would come to her for guidance. I didn't know it then, but I was taking notes.

At home, the cosmos showed up differently. I knew I was a Tiger in the Vietnamese lunar zodiac (Mười hai con giáp) but I always knew there was more to it than that.

Meanwhile, our home was arranged according to feng shui (of course). We had the lucky three-legged gold toad by the front door. There was always a fountain somewhere in the house. Anytime we moved, the house address numbers had to add up to something auspicious. None of this was discussed as a spiritual practice. It was just how I grew up and my mother just did the things.

Years later, at my own crossroads, I turned to the stars + cards. They answered.

As I got older, I learned it was a language for the soul I didn't know I was missing. Astrology , tarot, and other practices gave me a sense of direction and guidance in my life and to understand the uncertainties.

Now I like to share how some of these tools and practicies may help you understand the blueprint you were born with and forge your own soul path to live the life you were meant to live.
